Build a Social Media Posting App with No Code

Updated September 2026. This guide originally covered one Bubble tutorial; it now covers all four of our no-code builder tutorials and the Ayrshare plugin for Claude Code.

Building a no-code social media app used to follow a familiar script: pick a platform like Bubble or Retool, design a form, and wire it up to the Ayrshare API. The four tutorials below cover that traditional route, and they still work. But there is now a fifth option. The Ayrshare MCP Server lets an AI agent drive the API using plain-language commands, which means that for some workflows you can skip building a user interface entirely.

Two Ways to Connect

Both routes interact with the same Ayrshare endpoints, but they are driven by different mechanisms.

• An AI agent via the MCP Server: You describe the post, and the agent executes the calls. This covers the Claude Code plugin, an n8n workflow, or custom AI features inside your product. There is no visual screen to design.
• A traditional interface via a no-code builder: A user fills out a form and clicks a publish button. This uses Bubble, FlutterFlow, or Retool to call the REST API directly, providing a visual workspace for your users.

Under the hood, both methods rely on the same infrastructure. Every MCP tool call passes through the same authentication, rate limits, quota enforcement, and request validation as the REST endpoints.

Neither approach is limited to single users, and you do not have to choose just one. Both methods use a Profile Key to target a specific client's connected accounts, meaning you can serve a single brand or an entire customer base. Many products combine the two: a Bubble interface for customers to schedule their own posts, while an AI agent works in the background to draft copy and handle bulk tasks.

The Agent Route: Ayrshare Plugin for Claude Code

The official plugin packages the Ayrshare MCP Server configuration with a setup command, three specialized agents, thirteen skills, and a safety hook that makes the agent ask permission before publishing. Once installed, you describe your post in Claude Code and the agent handles the API calls.

1. Install the Plugin

2. Connect Your API Key

Run the setup command, paste your key from the Ayrshare dashboard, and restart Claude Code. The MCP server reads the key at session start, so a restart is required to pick up a new one.

3. Describe the Post

Tell the agent exactly what you need. For example:

Draft a LinkedIn post and an X post announcing our new pricing page. Match the tone of my last ten posts, validate both, and show me before you send anything.

4. Review and Approve

The agent analyzes your recent posts for tone and runs validation checks against each network's constraints. It catches issues like overly long X captions or unsupported Instagram images while the content is still a draft. A PreToolUse hook on every publish and send action means nothing goes live until you give final approval.

Beyond publishing, these agents cover the rest of the API:

• Schedule posts for later across any mix of 14+ networks in a single request.
• Retrieve post and account analytics to inform future drafts.
• Read comments, post replies, and send direct messages.
• Register webhooks and decode Ayrshare error codes.
• Create client sub-profiles and generate account-linking URLs (available on the Business plan).

Using Another MCP Client

Because the plugin wraps the hosted Ayrshare MCP Server, you can use these same 27 tools in any MCP client. In n8n, add the MCP Client Tool node and point it at the server. Our n8n guide covers the setup and three example workflows.

No-Code Builder Tutorials

If your users need a screen to look at, these tutorials walk through building functional apps on different platforms. When serving multiple customers, assign each signed-in user a unique Profile Key to keep their social accounts isolated.

Bubble: A Posting Web App

Post directly from a Bubble form without manually configuring the API Connector, thanks to the official Ayrshare plugin. The video tutorial covers plugin installation, account linking, form layout, and workflow construction.

Build a native mobile app without code. This tutorial demonstrates posting text and images to Facebook, X, and LinkedIn right from a phone, then adds a Profile Key so each user of the app posts to their own accounts.

Retool: An Internal Posting Console

A good fit for marketing teams or agencies needing a shared internal tool rather than a customer-facing product. The guide builds a single dashboard to input text, upload images, select target networks, and monitor API responses.

Getting Started

Either way you need an Ayrshare API key. Sign up, connect your social accounts, and copy the key from the dashboard. There's a 28-day free trial, and the Business plan adds the sub-profiles you need to post on behalf of other people.
